AN EVER LIVING PRESENCE

Only when we have struggled and invested ourselves in prayer and solitude do we finally get in touch with our own life experience. And after having learned to listen to our inner cravings and feelings for liberation and new life, do we realize that Jesus did not just speak, but that He lives continually in our most inner and individual being from which we could not escape. It is here we learn that the Gospel doesn't just contain ideas worth remembering, but instead is an individual response to our personal human condition by our living God and Father. The church is no longer an institution forcing us to follow its rules and requirements, but instead is a community of brothers and sisters inviting us to still our hunger and thirst at its table. Traditions are no longer some alien formulation that we must agree to, but instead they become the very documentation of the most profound human experience handed over from generation to generation as an assured LIGHT in the darkness, and the single greatest evidence that our Savior still walks with us today, changing forever the lives of those who will draw near to His gentle callings. Everything is different when WE become ETERNAL in Jesus. LISTEN NOT, to the critics of the church, but to the still small voice of God begging you… Come Home!!
